"This is a beautiful old hotel and we liked it a lot, aside for two things: a recent renovation meant off-gassing fumes which were a lot for the first few days. The rooms are not well sound proofed so you could hear ppl in the hallway and in other rooms. Aside from that it was perfect."

"The location was great and was the reason we selected this motel. The property was very dated but clean. Our room had 2 queen beds, a full- sized fridge, little table and 2 chairs. It was an up north Michigan experience! The check-in instructions from Expedia said I'd receive an email before check-in. That didn't come so I called the motel directly and was told they aren't able to gain access to contact info through 3rd party sites. Check-in & check-out was very easy though."

"This home fit our needs perfectly. We had 6 adults, a toddler, a baby, and two small dogs. The home was equipped with a high chair and toys. It was very pet friendly with dog bowls, blankets, crates, and a doggy gate. Each family had their own bathroom and sleeping area. The kitchen was well equipped to handle our cooking needs and one night we used the grill outside for our meal…wasn’t left wanting at all. Matthew is a terrific host as he responded quickly to any questions and provided ideas of local spots that he thought would suit us. The location was perfect for us as it is close to beach access and several small towns…Traverse City is about 20 minute drive or so. Our stay was 6 nights and we definitely plan to return. Thanks again to Matthew for being a great host!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo had all the necessary things to make the stay comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and everything functioned properly. I would stay again but thankfully the temperature was cooler as there is no air conditioning. Also a suggestion if possible, better bathroom ventilation - the fan light combo does very little to pull moisture from the room."
